Cookin’ At the O is a celebration of jazz – the uniquely American art form that is full of creativity, love and vitality.
Each month, world class artists and fine food are presented at Oldenburg House in an intimate pop-up jazz+dinner club.
Document Spring brings together expert nature photographer Dudley Edmondson and area students to capture the emergence of spring from Oldenburg House to Oldenburg Point in Jay Cooke State Park.
Every Thursday night at Oldenburg House, a group of friendly people gather to listen to an artist and exchange ideas about the nature of creativity. Topics range from music, photography, meditation, tasting culinary creations, pottery, design, to mythology, poetry, film-making and visual arts.
Jazz Education Programs
Mentoring young musicians is a tradition among seasoned jazz performers. Cookin’ at the O musicians work with elementary students in the Kids Jazz Playground and with middle and high school students in jazz clinics.
Watching movies outdoors is a summer highlight especially when its nestled within the rock and pine under the stars at Oldenburg House.

Our first annual bluegrass and folk festival will feature local bands from the Northland and a few surprises from outside our region. Line-up, tickets and event information will be available May 15.
Noteworthy Kids and Oldenburg Arts and Cultural Community are joining together to create this event to raise funds to assure that our region’s kids are able to develop their musical abilities with access to instruments, lessons and mentoring with adult professional musicians.
