Gordon Marino, author of The Existentialist’s Survival Guide: How to Live Authentically in an Inauthentic Age, reads from his new book and discusses it with Steve Ostovich, Chair of the Philosophy Department at the College of St. Scholastica. Marino examines the existential perspective that sees our psychological ups and downs as offering enduring lessons about living a life of integrity and can help us discern an inner spark that can inspire spiritual development and personal transformation. Marino is a professor of philosophy and director of the Hong Kierkegaard Library at St. Olaf College, boxing corespondent for The Wall Street Journal and frequent writer for the New York Times.
